Keeping the belly in belly dance!

Hello, friends! It's been too long. As it happens, I've been working on other projects. Just after the Observer published a very lovely article about me, I discovered that Marty is getting a new brother! He is due to arrive at the end of March. I have been on a bit of a class hiatus in the meantime, not because I'm unable to dance but rather because many of my students have been busy, have moved away, been affected by the economy or otherwise been unable to attend class. My faithful Afsana and I have been working away on Friday nights, however, so my belly (occupied though it is) has been active in the interim.

Starting the first Friday in February, though, you're invited to join us! A new beginner class is forming now and we will start meeting every Friday at 6 at the DanceFusion studio, 5725 Lawton Drive, in Sarasota. For more info you can call 923-3923. If you'd like to be impulsive and join us, just show up in your exercise clothes with some socks and be ready to move your own belly around for an hour. Mine is pretty lively, as you can imagine!
